DARK HORSE 2026
This summer, Dark Horse returns to SilverStar Mountain Resort with a week-long celebration of women’s freeride mountain biking. From June 27 to July 1, 2026, Dark Horse Academy will bring together young women aged 14–25 for five days of progression, mentorship, and community. Founded by professional freerider Casey Brown, the Academy provides riders with the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and learn from some of the sport’s top female athletes in a supportive and inspiring environment.
The week concludes with two public events that showcase the spirit of Dark Horse and the growth of women’s freeride mountain biking. On July 1, the Dark Horse Community Ride invites riders of all abilities to hit the trails alongside Academy coaches and athletes, while the Dark Horse Invitational Jump Jam on July 2 will feature some of the world’s best female freeriders competing on a custom-built course. With world-class riding, live music, and a festival atmosphere, the Invitational highlights the talent, progression, and community that continue to drive the sport forward.
